About Us
Meet Susie
SR Physio & Pilates was founded by chartered physiotherapist Susie Roelofse, who has over 20 years of clinical experience helping people recover from injury, reduce pain and improve their quality of life. Susie qualified in 2007 as a Physiotherapist and has worked in the UK before returning to the Isle of Man 2010.
Susie has specialised in working with Musculoskeletal conditions and has been working as an extended scope specialist which also included extended skills such as injection therapy and non-medical prescribing.
Throughout her career, Susie has worked with people of all ages and abilities, treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including back and neck pain, chronic pain, tendon injuries, joint replacements, orthopaedic post operative, rheumatological conditions, pregnancy-related conditions and postnatal rehabilitation.
Having taught Pilates since 2008, Susie combines extensive physiotherapy knowledge with evidence-based Pilates to create a truly personalised approach to movement and rehabilitation. Her aim is simple: to help people move better, feel stronger and gain confidence in what their bodies can achieve.
Outside of work, Susie enjoys spending time with her family and friends and travelling!
